Slezská 100/7, Praha 2

This three-winged corner building, the work of the architect Josef Gočár, was built in 1924-1926 as the House of Agricultural Education. The sandstone reliefs above the north and south portals were designed by the sculptor Otto Gutfreund and installed in 1927. Its interior retains a number of artisan features. The building currently houses several agricultural institutions, including the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Information, part of which is the Antonín Švehla Agricultural, Forestry and Food Library. The library is the most extensive specialized agricultural library in the Czech Republic and the third largest agricultural library in the world.
