Trafo Gallery

A private contemporary art gallery that follows in the legacy of the legendary Trafačka and has been showcasing prominent Czech and international artists since 2006. For the past 20 years, its exhibition programme has been developed in collaboration with its founding artists, leading curators, and guest artists. Each year, the gallery organizes six exhibitions focusing on painting, sculpture, photography, graffiti, drawing, and interdisciplinary installations. In addition to its own exhibition programme, the gallery also participates in international art fairs. Guided tours, workshops, lectures, performances, and publishing activities are an integral part of its programme. The gallery provides studio spaces for several artists-in-residence and has long supported the development of the contemporary art scene. In 2024, it was named Gallery of the Year by the Czech Academy of Visual Arts.
