House on the River

A few years ago, the Cipro couple decided to change their lifestyle and take an unconventional approach to housing by making their home on the river. They were drawn to the proximity of nature and the sense of freedom that life on the water offers. They commissioned the design and construction of their houseboat from the NoArchitects studio and, after the boat was completed in 2020, moved on board with their entire family. Since then, the boat has been their year-round home, except when they set off on their travels. Both are passionate about culture, which is why they agreed to open their unique floating home to visitors as part of the Night of Literature. Opportunities to glimpse such an extraordinary way of life are rare.
