A brother and sister—twins. He has two cats; she obsessively collects sweaters. They both adore New York and have a plan: to move there together at age 28. Their bond feels stronger than death—or so she thinks. When her brother starts to drift away, she clings to the hope that they’ll reconnect. But then the unthinkable happens: suicide. Why didn’t she see the signs? Did she ever truly understand him? And how can she go on without him?
