Austrian writer and playwright Daniel Glattauer (* 1960) became famous for his email novel Love Virtually (2006, Czech edition 2010), which became a bestseller, was adapted into a stage play and a radio play, and in the Czech Republic was also adapted into Lukáš Hejlík’s successful project Listování. Its sequel, Every Seventh Wave (2009, Czech edition 2012), was written at the request of eager readers and enjoyed similar success. The author’s novel about gaslighting, Forever Yours (2012, Czech 2013), was also published in Czech. Glattauer’s books have been translated into more than forty languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide. He is also known for his columns and essays.
