The bookstore was founded in 2015 out of a passion for high-quality children’s literature and illustration. After gaining experience organizing literary festivals, collaborating with schools, and running a travelling bookstore, its founders fulfilled their dream of opening their own physical store in 2020. They focus primarily on carefully selected books for children and young people from small and independent publishers from the wider world of children’s literature. Each title is chosen with an emphasis on both literary and artistic quality. The founders believe that the right book can spark a child’s imagination, joy of reading, and curiosity. The bookstore is also a place for personal encounters, recommendations, and inspiration, where readers can receive individualized, tailor-made book recommendations.
