BOOK

VYTAUTAS V. LANDSBERGIS kniha Okronoskovy lapálie

This collection of short stories, poems, and experimental texts introduces readers to a comical and sarcastic world in which animals and other creatures serve as protagonists. In a suspiciously transparent way, they behave like human beings forced to live in a manipulated socialist society full of illogically imposed rules. Okronoska the bear, who despite everything remains at heart a naive child in search of the truth, touches the reader with his simple innocence, behind which lies confusion about the state of affairs and about himself. With his biting, spot-on linguistic and situational humor, he manages better than anything else to highlight the absurdity of the society in which he lives.
